New Year fireworks.

Last night the weather could best be described as crappy. But we still went out to join in the traditional celebrations. Not that many other people did, and I can't blame anybody who decided it was best to stay at home.

Maybe not as impressive as the beautiful display from the London Eye, which we watched on BBC News 24, but the sentiment was just as important for a small community like Vestnes.
So well done to those who organised the fireworks. We certainly appreciated their effort.
